This is me currently, having a beautiful lunch in Lyon.
A little about me…
Those closest to me would say I exude warmth, enthusiasm, and a curious, intellectual mind. As such, I strive to bring both exuberance and a savvy, client-oriented ethos to all of my creative projects.
Outside of my work, I’d love nothing more than a cozy country cottage with a big garden in which to tend my beloved plants. On a quiet, rainy evening you’d be as likely to find me curled up with a novel or interior design tome, while hopping up intermittently to make folds in a bubbly loaf of sourdough; perusing the walls of a local gallery exhibition on the hunt for a new piece to add to our walls; or listening to my husband play jazz riffs on the piano with a crisp martini in hand, a chicken roasting in the oven, and a handful of candles lit while the baby sleeps.
Born and raised in Napa, California, I grew up with a love of good food and wine, and a profound appreciation for the close-knit community of farmers, vintners, chefs, hoteliers, and restaurateurs who live in wine country.
In the past, I’ve had the fortune to call Heidelberg, Napa, and San Francisco all home. As such, I speak some (high) German. And I now reside in Zürich, Switzerland, where my husband and I are raising our little girl, Edith.
With any of my creative endeavors, I hope to nurture the good in the world. I aim to help people to see places of beauty and moments of connection, both around the world, and within each other. And I believe that through vibrant and soulful imagery, coupled with evocative writing, I can help foster the interconnectedness we all share, and that makes humanity both beautiful and hopeful.

My photography background
With 16+ years experience in commercial and editorial photography, I specialize in hospitality, culinary, travel, and lifestyle content for large multinational brands and small emerging ones alike. I draw on my previous experience as a professional in both marketing, at Ketchum Public Relations, and culinary education, at the Culinary Institute of America, to provide a deep understanding of the vast, multi-layered hospitality, food, and beverage landscape.
While I operate often as a lead photographer, with complementary roles in art direction, production and writing, I’m also very comfortable leading a team of experienced food, prop and wardrobe stylists. I truly love collaborating with other creative leaders on new projects.
My work has appeared in The New York Times, NYT Style, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Sunset Magazine, Plate, Life & Thyme, and Flavor & The Menu; on television shows Bravo Top Chef and Masterchef; and many other media outlets over the years.
